Queen Sonorie's court really are not huge players in the overall scheme of Unsounded, but it's a lot of fun trying to get them to stand out for their few brief appearances. Chancellor Ufal especially has a great rubber face and Karl is so oily you could wring him out onto your salad. Look at his little butt ruffle.

The lizards speak their own language, naturally, and it's full of sounds that we as humans can't reproduce. I've never therefore felt it would be proper to attempt to romanize it outside of a few proper nouns, like Prakhuta, and the lizards' name for themselves, the inak.

Some fun details on this page. I really liked drawing the kiddie Two-toes clinging to mom. I also liked drawing the little Crescian brats throwing eggs. Smashing eggs in the path of egg-laying Two-toes clinging to their own unborn - even if they're chicken eggs - is a particularly dickish thing to do.
