Added 2018-07-25 03:51:37 +0000 UTCI was looking at the Venus of Willendorf one day and thought it really kind of looked like a face. I imagined Bell finding an old Yerta idol kept in some forgotten palace side chapel, and seeing in it a symbol of what Cresce had become - headless, feckless, crippled - thanks to endless attrition from Alderode and ineffective leadership. Then maybe one day he's praying to it and has a vision - which is really nothing more than Ruckmearkha leaping on his neck, doping him with venom, and giving him the liquid courage and spiritual certainty to do what he might otherwise never have dared.
I'm going to be in the Unsounded Discord this Saturday if you want to swing in and talk Unsounded, or making comics, or video games. I'll probably be more chatty than I typically allow myself to be on tumblr, so if you want to make me accidentally reveal a spoiler this could be the venue for you! ;)

I'm totally fine with nekkid wimmens, but honestly it is a LOT easier to find them bouncing about in popular media than it is to find similarly unclad men. I had one male friend who refused to watch the HBO series "Rome" (excellent) because he said all it was was good looking, half- and undressed men, and that it just made his body-image suffer. I was like, "welcome to all television and movies EVER, if you are a female." It's changing a bit, but one is still a lot more likely to see girl boobs than boy buns when channel flipping, and a male full frontal still has to take no rating or an X. The '80s drawing room romance Room with a View was unrated as a result. ROOM WITH A VIEW!! (Sorry. Pet peeve... or pet peen?) I look forward to more of your art regardless of subject matter!
