The kind of episode that you'd only see in Vinland Saga. I'd almost say this felt like a tribute to life itself, with Gardar reflecting on some of his best and worst moments, wishing he'd have done certain things differently. At least we saw him reunited with his son in heaven.

A new journey begins with a more than promising start! The dynamic between Edward and Alphonse is already great, and I love how expansive this first episode already teased FMAB's world to be.
