Added 2023-05-05 10:47:21 +0000 UTCFor a show that's supposedly deemed controversial and hated by some, I was honestly surprised how modest, relatively light-hearted and fun this premiere episode felt to me. While Rudeus clearly doesn't shy away from sharing all of his vibrant thoughts, I would by no means rule out yet that he may have his heart in the right place.

2023-06-06 12:39:00 +0000 UTCThis is definitely one of the best isekais imo, as it’s pretty much the original, most isekai are based off light novels, so anime books essentially, a lot of them have the same tropes that come straight from mushoku tensei, getting hit by a truck, overpowered main character, etc. and a lot of them feel kind of cookie cutter, what makes this show different is that it actually takes its time to flush characters out, you pointed out that a lot of anime goes straight to 100 immediately that it’s hard to keep up, this shows big moments hit harder because of the build up, Any episode titled turning point is one to lookout for. I hope your enjoying this show as I think it’s extremely well written, and keep the lotr comparisons coming as there’s a lot to make, even to the point that there was a whole language invented for it
