Against his better judgement, Niedrinn decided he’d go to the human world with Khalar cos he couldn’t fathom why it is he has such a keen interest in it. He’d thought he factored in everything so that his sickly disposition was not exposed, but he didn’t realize that 1.) the sun in the human realm was BRUTAL and 2.) he had to walk for about 10 minutes from the edge of the forest to Goldwyn’s house. So once he got to the front step, he just passed tf out.
Goldwyn was, of course, deeply displeased by this. He doesn’t want to be responsible for the welfare of a fricking prince after all. But as the owner of the house, he has to. So while Niedrinn was bedridden, Goldie ended up having a conversation with him… which was actually amazing. Niedrinn is a very intelligent being and a great conversationalist so Goldie had a really good time talking and debating and what not.
However, Goldie is stressed as FUCK, so at some point the headache he’d been managing was just too much, so he just… out his finger to Niedrinn’s lips, said that he should rest and go to sleep, and then dipped to go lay down in a dark room and soothe his splitting head 🤣🤣
