I had intended to get started on some decorating today, but after last night's news (that it may just get too expensive to finish my PhD and I may even owe extra taxes this year), I haven't had the heart. I just try to be polite to people instead (e.g., acknowledging the existence of my grocery cashiers and baggers, thanking those who hold doors for me, etc). <b>Sleeping in silence?</b> — Unless I'm literally on the verge of passing out, I can't sleep without my audios. It's a problem. <b>Why did God create doughnuts with the centers missing? So they'd be HOLE-Y!</b> — Doughnuts still aren't on the list of safe foods for me, as they contain eggs and/or dairy, but I do miss me a good chocolate-covered doughnut. I won't say "no" to cinnamon-sugar, powdered sugar, or jelly-filled, either. (Well, I will now. But not by choice.) <b>Shampoo measurements</b> — I always put my hair-washing products in my hand before putting them on my head. It ensures that I don't use too much/too little, nor do I get the substance in my eyes. <b>I prob'ly think this song is about me</b> — Dolly Parton, Eric Clapton, and Bob Dylan have each recorded songs that use my name as a lyric. I never knew this. Huh! I'll see about the Advent challenge tomorrow; I don't hold out a lot of hope for my activity level. I'll be lucky to get to the grocery store as I need to do.

^_^ This means so much to me, and I'm sure the rest of the community. The year has been tough. Health problems, quite a few bad relationships, etc, so it's been a long road. Though, Gael, you've helped me a ton through all of this, and recently I've been able to become apart of the patreon community as well. Unfortunately, being an artist doesn't always pay the best. It's been a bit of a struggle coming up with the extra money, but my gosh is it worth every penny. Thank you for all of your hard work! Hmm...I already know how to count to ten in Spanish, I can struggle for it in German and Norwegian, and could probably fudge it in French based on what I know from Spanish...so I guess I'd better skip to the good part and learn to count to ten in Irish! (&gt;^_^)&gt; And now, this: <b>Rey-Rey as sharkbait!</b> — Usually, those shark-cage experiences require scuba experience, which I do not have. If it were a snorkel-cage, it wouldn't make me feel any better, as I've snorkeled in the past and the asthma just wasn't having it. So the answer to that is a nope. I'll stick with watching them through aquarium glass or a television screen. <b>Spicy treats</b> — It's not a "snack," per se, but I do love me a Szechuan hot pot. I'm not much for hot-n-spicy stuff as a general rule. <b>My personal pain threshold</b> — Honestly, yes, and I've already considered it several times. While it's less common for me than it used to be, I'm frequently ignored or pushed aside in my job, either because I'm a woman or because I have bad timing.
