Detailing: Leather Biker Jacket

3 hours long, half of it just troubleshooting. Perhaps, a timelapse is more useful.

To summarize, I add all the details like zippers and pockets. The back actually has a pleat/flange which is hard to notice so maybe it is better to skip it. The rest is just routine like changing fabric, topstitch, puckering and adjusting the seam type.

I also add shoulder pad to make the shoulder more pronounce. If I'm to do this again I will make the shoulder line a bit longer.

You may notice that instead of using button, I'm using circular piece of fabric for the button/stud. This is just my preference. Button/trim tends to become misaligned when the fabric moves, so I always have to adjust it afterward. In Clo, I sew the 'fake button' but I found out sewing very tiny pieces in Style3D is less stable, unless using CPU simulation. So, I use pin instead of sewing.

No effort at all in for texturing - I just use the default leather. I'm using Blender Cycle to render so If I'm to do more texturing it is better to it there.

If you are using Clo/MD and want to layer this jacket on top of another garment, don't forget to remove skin offset and turn on soft body, like I explain previously, unless you are OK with A-pose only.

The reference garment actually has vent/godet under the cuff zipper. But this is pointless to include in 3D model, unless if you want to present the model with the cuff unzipped.
