Zipper!

I bought a lot of different size zippers, but they never seem to fit correctly. Many time I need to adjust my pattern according to the zipper I have or need to buy a new one. So today I finally decide to work with custom length zipper (zipper by the yard). I watched some tutorials and by the end of the day I'll decide on what other tools I need to buy. I'll definitely has to buy some pliers.
Another dilemma that I have with zippers is whether to harvest the zippers that I already sewn or just use new one. But unpicking the stiches took a long time and it is so tedious and boring. Just yesterday It took me hours to remove all the zippers from the previous jackets.
But thinking that these good zippers left unused at the landfill does not sit right with my conscience. Hopefully, I'll develop some skill to remove them faster. I also should sew them in a way that is easier to remove.
