Alex Mayyasi, Food Editor of Atlas Obscura, is looking for pitches:
I'm holding more office hours on Monday (February 15) for freelancers interested in writing for Gastro Obscura. Please do sign up (via this form). We are hungry for pitches.
COMPENSATION: There is a long answer about length of the article and amount of reporting and such. The short answer is usually 50 cents per word, and we offer additional compensation if someone has photo chops and shoots the story.
