2022-12-19 11:42:18 +0000 UTCWatching these old clips- (and just as context, I was 27 in 1998 and definitely laughing along with JB back then) a few things occurred to me. One is the fact that you can’t ( shouldn’t?) say a lot of that stuff anymore, and that’s probably good, and Joe Bob definitely knows this now. Another is that I’m glad he was able to adapt and learn from getting “cancelled” a few times in the past few years, even though I don’t think he actually did anything wrong, his heart being obviously in the right place. The last thing is that all of the other mail girls weren’t on a Darcy level, in any way, ever. Mature Joe Bob is best Joe Bob, and Darcy is best mail girl. Thanks for the Ghoultide Gathering- it aired on my birthday and was the perfect capper to a great day. Thanks to both of you for all you do.
