ZFS Metadata: Special Device And You!

We used some diagrams from the internet but they aren't a perfect match for what we're talking about. This is kind of complex stuff (tbh it's kind of over my head), but we thought it was interesting enough to give you guys a peek!

Me like ! don't have enought room inside my 2u case to add more than 2 ssd, so i did bad and have a non-mirrored zil ... Now that i have seen the pcie -> 4 m.2 I'll have to look into it. it might be very nice ! especially when you deal with git repo on a network share... it get very slow.
