Speaking, maintenance, cards...
Added 2024-08-23 05:46:55 +0000 UTCHere's a quick update on what I did since my last post. I’ve written two new articles that address common questions I receive:
How to Edit & Customize Flashcards (e.g., moving the image to the card’s back)
Both articles tackle a common issue: Seeing the image on the front of a flashcard or listening to the first word of the audio can remind you of the card's meaning without actually listening to the full sentence. I didn’t write a dedicated article on this problem, but I did mention it on the FAQ page. As a solution, either remove the image or use the card for some output practice (this is at least what I did).
I’ve also done some maintenance on my tools, including improvements to the code that auto-corrects Japanese and enhancements to the workflow for adding new channels (I used this to add this one).
Lastly, I’ve created around 200 new flashcards, but they’re not released yet. I plan to add another ~100 cards to complete the Intermediate 2 deck, and then I’ll release them together.
Thank you for you support!

I started with the base deck about a week ago :) It's been great! I gotta ask though - why did you put the cards for ika and iru so close together q.q It's an absolute pain having to distinguish between iku, itta, iru, inai, ita, inakatta :sob: Idk maybe it was smart to get those out of the way early. For now it seems I always get it wrong xD
