I'm happy to report that it's doing the intended job of fixing the various motion bugs and will also give us a chance to introduce new movements/actions more easily. The walk I had in mind for Ayla is closer to the slower, more sensual version on the right (32 frames. It actually had an even more exaggerated hip swing and slightly more deliberation on each step but once I'd animated that out it became clear it wouldn't work for the needs of the game, which needs a very consistent walking ...
