I was surprised by how easily this one came together since the character is pretty detailed! it really depends on the kind of details with pixel art. it also helps when the character's reference already has great shading colors on it haha.

I realized I've been sitting on a few of these that haven't been posted!
the first and last were for inneedofausername on deviantart, the second was for kali-naan on deviantart, and the third was for iambic on toyhouse, based on a pre-existing design of the monster form's front half by monstersovka on twitter.

I experimented with a lineless style for a bunch of these which was fun! I've been moving towards using a little bit of lineless in my pixel art style where it'll save on space without compromising detail- after trying full lineless I think I prefer...
