I totally intended to draw the background but I could not figure out how to replicate the blurry leaf look well so I edited my own photo instead, which was fun! I also wanted to include ellie's brother borlowen in the bottom left but I never got around to designing him...

I had such a specific inspiration for the atmosphere of this piece, which was the inside of the mexico pavillion at epcot... but looking at it now it also totally reminds me of the pirates of the caribbean ride haha. basically this was actually set at disne...
