Hi everyone,
It's time for a quick round-up of recent releases and plans for the upcoming month.
In August, I released 4 new sci-fi maps and 4 Cyberpunk Maps.
These are also the last cyberpunk maps released through both Miska's Maps AND Cyberpunk Maps patreons. In the future, you can get cyberpunk and other near-future maps directly through my Cyberpunk Maps Patreon project. More about Starlord Tier updates and Cyberpunk Maps below.

Extra Maps [Starlord+ tier]

Some of August's map releases were done in collaboration with Posthuman Studios for an updated Eclipse Phase 2nd Edition scenario called Mind the WMD.
I'm a big fan of Eclipse Phase myself, and this was a really fun project for me. Also, as EP is a hard sci-fi TTRPG with physics based on real-world science,
I got to make a vertical thrust gravity deckplan for this. In other words, this ship's layout is designed to work like a tower. The decks are on top of each other instead of a vertical layout, like in airplanes or spaceships with artificial gravity.
In September, I plan to complete two WIP maps and work on new Alien-inspired assets and the sci-fi train assets and maps.
The two maps I'm working on are:
Temple of Ascension - An Alien-inspired ancient sacrificial temple with strong vibes from the Alien movie Prometheus.
Raider Base - A small base with barracks, warehouses, command center and other facilities required to run a small space pirate, bounty hunter, or slaver crew. This map does not include a landing bay. Instead, I plan to make a few other bases and hangars or landing bays with different layouts with the idea that you can mix and match these based on where you want the base to be located in (underground, on an asteroid, or a mountainside)
At the moment, I'm a little behind schedule with the Foundry VTT module releases. It is my highest priority at the moment to get these up to date as soon as possible.
I have tested Foundry v12 with the older v11 modules, and these seem to work OK. In other words, you should be able to use these older v11 modules with v12 regardless of the incompatibility warning. I will update the compatibility of these modules as soon as the pending modules are done.
Also, I'm reconsidering moving back to bundle modules with multiple map packs, but I need to figure out first how to do this so that it's easy to find the maps in the modules. The new Map Index that I'm working on might be the answer to this. I'll return to this when I have some news to share.
Starting the 1st of September, my other map projects are no longer included in the Starlord tier.
Here are the main reasons for this change:
I had to discontinue Mythos Maps due to an unmanageable workload. I might still publish some cthulhu mythos related maps as extra maps for the Starlord tier and I plan to include some modern horror/supernatural variants for the future Cyberpunk Maps releases.
There has been a lot of confusion about where to get my cyberpunk maps. I'm working on clarifying the communication.
Starlord tier did not provide access to Cyberpunk Maps Foundry VTT modules, so to get the VTT modules, you needed to subscribe to both Patreons anyway.
Making releases on both Patreons was double-work for me and this time is away from other places I could spend it on.
Different styles. Currently, Cyberpunk Maps is using Inkarnate assets, and I don't want to mix my own drawing style with Inkarnate's anymore. My plan is to move away from using Inkarnate assets and create my own set of assets, but with a distinctive and identifiable style.
New Starlord Tier Benefits
I made a poll about the possible replacements for Cyberpunk Maps and Mythos Maps releases.

Based on these results, I have decided to start with the following Starlord tier benefits:
Extra Maps: Based on the results, extra maps are the most popular benefit. This is very understandable. After some consideration, I must admit that I'm already pushing the limit with my current map releases. Therefore, I cannot commit to a certain number of monthly extra maps. However, I occasionally want to test new styles or vent ideas by working on different genres and these will be released for Starlord tier members as "extra maps".
Vehicle and Spaceship Tokens: This is something that I've been thinking about a lot. And as the second most popular choice, I can see that there is a demand for these. I will start making spaceship and vehicle tokens.
I have some other ideas too, but instead of hogging too much work, again, I'll get back to this later :)
As mentioned, I have another Patreon project focusing on cyberpunk and modern-day maps. You can find it here: www.patreon.com/cyberpunkmaps
You are welcome to join Cyberpunk Maps if you would like to get regular map releases fitting cyberpunk and other near-future TTRPGs.
Please note, that Cyberpunk Maps is currently transitioning from "per creation" to "monthly" model! I do not know about the detailed scheduled yet, but I will inform patrons on Cyberpunk Maps as soon as I know more.
Thanks!
