This Week's Update
Added 2020-12-13 20:03:27 +0000 UTCSo, life continues to be a bit of a nightmare this week, but I have managed to do some writing. The trouble is none of it's quite ready to go tonight, and I've done all I can. Worked some more on Cali Christmas and the new short story, but I'm dropping in to basically tell you guys that the big payoff is going to come during the Christmas break this month rather than right now.
What I'm prepared to share with you is that part of my recent troubles have ended with me giving notice to move out of my current house-share. Sorting out new accommodation is actually going quite well with viewings lined up and the usual stuff, but my time's getting a bit curtailed and when I do get free time, I haven't felt able to write as much. It's helped this weekend, when I managed to get a great session in yesterday evening, but this is going to take time.
Thank you for all your support as Patrons once again, because the extra money you bring in for me is going to be especially useful in the coming month or two while I try to get my personal life back on track. I was tempted to put the page on pause, but as long as I still feel able to keep working on it even a little, I've decided to keep it live and hope you're all understanding about the slightly later than hoped for input.
One thing I'm sure of is that once things are sorted, one of the first things I'm going to want to do is get going on the final Gone Day Part 1 draft.
