Ring-building day.
Added 2020-12-02 04:53:35 +0000 UTCSpent the day experimenting with rings. Built a new beach/sand ring after finding out there's a sand volleyball pit that actually comes with Daz Studio that looks better and renders faster than anything else.
The other ring was inspired by the one used in the Tyson/Jones "fight" over the weekend. (No, I did not waste the money you all pay me to watch it. I just caught the highlights:)
The white ring and ropes against the black background went well with some of the lighting techniques I've been studying in oil paintings from the Baroque period. (Figures lit by a bright direct light against a dark background is kind of a natural fit for a boxing match.) The top image was inspired by this one:

Late to the party, as usual. Sorry. Reading the post title made me wonder. Is this the One Ring?

2020-12-04 12:58:17 +0000 UTCYeah the last image could use a lot of improvement, but I like how you like experimenting on new things, it’s a good start! P.s. if someone’s knocked down on sand, shouldn’t what sticks looks like sand instead of dirt?
