REACTION to TAEMIN - NEVER GONNA DANCE AGAIN: ACT 2 ALBUM LISTEN

If you did enjoy his dramatic and cinematic sound, you should definitely check out his legendary MOVE album(2017). It's absolutely a piece of masterpiece, quintessence of taemin's music style.

You know it's a great album when a song like IDEA ends up 7 on your list haha. We have very similar taste apparently-- Clockwork was my favorite on ACT I for me, and I Think It's Love was my favorite on ACT II. Which is just kinda whiplash a bit for me, because honestly, I come back to Taemin again and again for his darker/moodier sounding songs, then by and large just hits me with a ballad or just... an extremely emotional song and that ends up being what I respect most about Taemin's artistry and discography as a whole. It just blows me away that with his raw voice, he can beat out my possibly top genre in the rest of the music world, even when he tops that same genre and was why I was there in the first place. That was a bit of a grammatical mess, but maybe you understand haha.

Never Gonna Dance Again is a masterpiece, from start to finish. I don't know if anyone in the Discord ever mentioned, but Identity is actually an extended version of the outro from Taemin's "Want" album from early 2019. So if you thought THAT was short lol you have no Idea (pun intended.) It was hella short, beautiful, ended abruptly and left you wanting more, so when we got what I never thought we would (a full version), it quickly became my favorite. It references Taemin's first album (Ace) and the fabulous queen that is the titular track in which Taemin established himself as our "one and only Ace". Also, Famous from Act 1 has an MV if you're interested, because it was the title track off his last Japanese album (also called Famous). It came out in the back half of 2019, and Exclusive is a b-side from that same album. Taemin has a very extensive, very succesful career in Japan and has several Japanese albums.

This album made me feel so emotional and I honestly could not tell you if I prefer Act 1 or Act 2. My 3 favorites (excluding idea) in this album have got to be Heaven, Exclusive, and Identity in not particular order. But impressionable comes in a close 4th. I don’t know why Taemin hasn’t been getting a lot more recognition for this comeback because they’re all masterpieces. His genre is so unique and his skills are so amazing. Taemin once said that it’s fine if his music doesn’t appeal to the “general”people, but that it makes him happy that his music can reach out to fans as well as new people.

i cant wait to see the live stages for idea to get the full experience of the song, taemin's title tracks are all about the full package and not Just the music, even more than your average kpop title track..... im hoping he'll promote heaven along with it but i dunno if he would sing that every time huh

this album is sooo good, i just ordered his album yesterday. this will be my first taemin album :) i prefer this one to act 1 but i love them both!

taemin performed heaven at one of his concerts but didn't release it until now, we have all been waiting for this moment lol i think i watched the stage like a million times it's so good
