REACTION to INFINITE - MUSIC VIDEO MARATHON (Request)

The song Be Mine probably sounds familiar because Oneus covered it on Road to Kingdom it was the Romeo and Juliet one

Not gonna lie, I've been subscribed to your yt for quite a long time now, but enver really thought about becoming a patron (mostly bec im a student and im broke af *sobs*) but the moment i saw INFINITE i immediately whipped out my card and became a patron even if its the cheapest one ;-;. I'm so so soooo happy that you reacted to them and I wish I can see more of them from you in the future! Also your boi Sungjong (also my all time ult since I ever started being a kpop fan) is the one you pointed out in every single video! Pretty accurate i must say uwu. I really do hope you react more of them, even if its here kshsksj id find a way to remain a patron for as along as i can owo. Maybe you can also see their variety sides (pls theyre so funny its not even--) also their cuter and bubblier songs! Much love Kaia ♡

Bad is my fave Infinite song and one of my fave songs in general. I’m curious as to how you’d like that one if you check it out later. Infinite are kings of crackheadery especially your boy Sungjong and the rapper you kept pointing out Dongwoo (an actual meme, also he just got out of military) If you liked the cinematic parts of Back if you’d be willing to try I would love to hear your reaction to some B.A.P stuff.

TBH like 4 of the members are actors, and L even recently won 3 awards for a really good drama called angels last mission, also his drama shut up flower boy band is a classic plus he was in one more time drama on Netflix and meow the secret boy, emperor: owner of the mask, my lovely girl, mr. hammurabi, and he has a new one coming out called secret royal inspector. Wow I never realized how many he’s in. Also 3 other members (Hoya,Woohyun,Sungyeol) were in a drama called high school love on it was also a really fun drama to watch. Also L recently left the label, but he says he’ll continue to still be with infinite so idk what that means.. Also the one you like was host in weekly idol could you react to the one with NCT dream it was funny how they interacted(and since I Stan both episode 371) of course after their own. It’s cool you like them L actually got me into kpop because of shut up flower boy band.☺️

*stares pointedly at each member getting out of the military* KIM SUNGGYU WHERE IS MY NEW SOLO ALBUM

I think you recognise Be Mine because ONEUS covered it on Road to Kingdom, the stage where they did the Romeo & Juliet theme ^^

OKAY. I told myself I would subscribe on the 1st but. Once you mentioned INFINITE I kept refreshing your Patreon :))) and when I saw it was here, I went, "oh screw it I need to see" and I'm so so happy you liked them! While I follow different groups now, INFINITE are still in that ult position in my heart and a lot of memories with them came rushing back. Saw them live twice when they came to the Philippines for their world tours, and I went to Myungsoo's (L, their visual) fanmeeting here right before the pandemic. I love their music, their choreo, and they're one of the groups you can rely on for varieties because they're just hilarious. They were one of the groups who were really known for their synchronization and choreography before synchronization became a staple during 3rd gen. I really really love the selection, and these songs are definitely part of Sweetune's best works. Fun fact: INFINITE are one of the few groups to release a special album full of just their instrumentals of songs from 2010 to 2013. It's so great! I will forever be bitter abut how Woollim got too complacent with them after their first world tour and didn't promote them as much anymore. Then 2015 came, and after successful unit and solo activities, stuck to giving them one comeback a year until their 7th year (they were supposed to have a comeback early 2017 but it was super delayed until contract renewals came). One of the members (Hoya - main dancer and rapper) left since Woollim rarely gave them creative control on their music, and we only got one album and a single before the enlistment periods arrived. It's a bit sad considering the remaining 6 re-signed with the promise of more group activities, though I'm glad that they continue to hang out and talk to each other. Anyway >< right now, half of the group has already been discharged from the military, two are still in, and only one hasn't gone in yet. Some of the members have units and solo stuff, but I think a lot of their material is worth checking out! Thank you for reacting to INFINITE, and they are definitely worth checking more about :D

Ahhhhh I loved this so much!! Infinite was my ultimate favorite group for the longest time and they were actually the group that got me suuuuper into kpop instead of just casually listening to random songs. Their entire discography is soooo good! Infinite along with Teen Top were the groups that really began the trend of super synchronized choreography. They had a very distinct sound for their music with the orchestral instrumentals that were also kind of electronic, it makes for very dramatic sounding music haha. They were also pretty well known for their live stages, so hopefully you can check out some of those sometime, I think you would really enjoy them. They also have a few subunits that have released albums and the two main vocalists, Sunggyu and Woohyun, both have a couple solo albums out as well that are really good. They are also super funny on variety shows and a lot of the members are also actors. L (kim myungsoo) is actually starring in a historical drama right now. And a fun fact: Woohyun was always super into doing fan service and acting cute and cheesy towards fans and was actually the one who started the little fingerhearts that you always see idols and fans doing. He performed solo at dream concert in 2016 and afterwards there were actually articles about how lovingly he was looking at all the inspirits the whole time and how other fans felt jealous hahaha

Oh damn, Infinite used to be one of my favorite groups! I even saw them live twice - once in Korea and then they had a tour and I went to their concert in Paris :) I love their music and they have some awesome vocalists. They are known for their choreographies and especially synchronization - they used to be kings of synchronization before Seventeen. You watched their earlier songs - with The Chaser basically being their most famous song back then.. but I think you should definitely watch Bad (which was a huge hit in 2015) and The Eye (at least). Their career basically slowed down after one of the members (Hoya) decided to leave the group and they released only like... maybe 2 more albums and then stopped because it was the time for the army. Some of the members have solo stuff, some of the members are also actors... but yeah, they're definitely worth checking out, since they're one of the 'bigger' groups of their era ;)

F in the chat for YouTube Inspirits XD *philosophical shrug* anyway! I'm not a proper Stan, but I think any 2nd Gen kpop listener has high respect for Infinite. The ongoing obsession with 'knife-cut choreo' and absolute synchronization is 100% emerging from them. A fun fact: many of Infinite's songs are by Sweetune, and unless I misremember several composers/producers from Sweetune went on to found Monotree--aka Thanks For ONF's Stellar Discography!! Of titles not in this reaction, Bad is VERY good and I've seen it reacted to so maybe it's safe? And I must shill for The Eye, even though I KNOW that one gets blocked: imo it's their best song, MV, and choreo. The MV actually adds to the song, and then the performance version shows how the dance perfectly represents the subject (the eye, as in the eye of a storm: literal translation of the Korean title is 'Typhoon'). I loved this reaction, and I'm giving myself a point for guessing Sungjong ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

V G (Zay)

Yesssssss infinite truly do not have bad songs!! I hope you can react to their other mvs cause it’s just bop after bop

bryonyon

well except for fainting lmaooo I had such a great time watching!!!! Paradise is so underrated, so I'm super glad you love it!! Yeah Sungjong is ya boi and the rapper you pointed out a few times is Dongwoo (mr serious skateboard lmao) You're completely right, infinite are like the trendsetters of the super synchronised choreo! I'm already excited to request more of them omg
