Even koreans do feel the same way for Geunsuk. He is a nice guy and famous in Japan, but was a symbol of cringe in korea because of his picture he posted before (you may not want to see that photo). He was once a human meme because of that

I think I agree with you too, for both pd 101 boys and girls had more specialized trainees in vocals/raps/dance and in 48 and X they were more all-rounders while there is nothing wrong with either I personally liked first 2 seasons better.

I AM SO READY FOR THIS. Something you'll realize soon enough, is that the girls are way more specialized in PD101 than on PD48. Like, the vocalists are usually *just* vocalists, same goes for rappers, etc. It's a different dynamic, and it's so much more competitive! Also, keep an open mind : contrary to PD48, this was the last chance for so many of these girls, so they can feel a bit more "bitchy" at times...but I do think they're just really desperate to break through.

Oh also, Jang Geun Suk (the MC) is a famous actor - he got the title of Prince of Asia around 10 years ago because he was really popular in the whole region, especially Japan in China... so that's why it was everywhere during his introduction haha... I haven't seen him around in ages, but he was extremely popular back in 2009-beginning of 2010s... and he also worked as a singer, but mainly in Japan... I think he's still acting, just not as much as he used to.

Tbh I never watched Produce because I hate the concept of the show - mainly because all the groups were treated as regular groups when they have an expiry date - and it bothered me a lot in comparison with other groups who are there to stay and are trying to build their careers but then they had to compete with Produce groups who would mostly take all the attention because people follow Produce lol - when those same Produce groups won't be there tomorrow... I'm annoyed yes... also I actually liked IZ*ONE and I had no idea they were the winners of Produce and hence will disband.. so yeah... it's so annoying hahaha... I get that those trainees get their fanbase and all that, but still.... but I'm curious about some of the artists so I might watch it now with you hahaha...

"I already miss Lee Seunggi" is such a mooooood, just because Geunsuk presents himself slightly androgynous doesn't make it okay for him to make all these (sometimes slightly, most of the time just) creepy remarks towards young girls.. Got those feelings out of the way, time to enjoy the show! Checking out DIA might be fun somewhere in the future, they have some great songs! YES Sejeong is just such a sweetheart <3
