World Map.

The idea behind this map is that it is constructed using sources like the Nunacairn plate as reference for the obscured northern hemisphere, whist the southern hemisphere is an artist’s interpretation on the terrain in the observable sky. The art detailing the edge of the northern and southern hemispheres of the map are artists depictions of various finds from across Brycglond believed to be idols of the gods.

I made this piece using the limited equipment and supplies available to me, because I only have an A4 scanner, all art that I draw has to be in that format. So I drew each section of the piece separately, scanned them in and pieced them all together. I’ve uploaded each section so that you can look at each little bit in detail.

Anyhow, I’m going to get back to this new two page spread for Humanity Lost.

There was indeed, before the flood there was the mighty civilisation of the Nunacairn. Their civilisation spread across multiple continents with its imperial core being the continent of Atlantis. It was so dense in parts that it turned vast swaths of once verdant country grey. There is no way for a mortal to overpower the will of a primordial god that was there at the beginning of time. Also, the inhabitants of Concavia do not long for escape as such, they have no real concept of escape from Concavia because as far as they’re concerned, Concavia is all that is. The gods do not like it when people try to open a path to the “underworld”, no, because the world was formed to keep Támhas out. In the creation myth of Concavia, it is stated vaguely that Támhas soul was sundered from his form and the world was made from his flesh in a similar way to how Midgard was formed from the body of Ymir in Germanic myth and how Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl create the Earth from the body of Cipactli in Mesoamerican myth, it’s a recurring theme in pre-abrahamic faiths world wide and like those myths I have created my own version for Concavia with Támhas. It is said that this was done to form a barrier between the gods, their children and all of creation and the dark god Támhas. I’ll be releasing the first part of this creation myth soon, so you’ll be able to read it there.

Has there been any technological advancement in Concavia? Do you think there's any way to shield against the influence of Tamhas to allow them to escape Concavia? Do the gods become upset if anyone tries to leave? Why was Concavia crafted from the remnants of an evil god? Was it to contain the people inside?
