A lot of my Patron exclusive songs have been very dark and broody recently. Very sci-fi adjacent. So I thought it was time to return to the protagonists roots with a sleepy little village tune.
It was a good change of pace for me to be honest. I haven't written anything like this in a couple of months so I was able to experiment a tad with melodies and instruments. I'm particularly fond of the lead instrument tone in the opening section, and the melody line in the 2nd section. And the chord change around 1:27 just does it for me haha.
