I actually expected something like this, but later in the game, with Regnorex, because I knew he has divinity and so I expected things to go something like this - she corrupts him, he resists it with Divinity, she has a very big problem she needs to make a breakthrough to solve. I didn't expect him to have minions that can do that as well. Fortunately, she has +150 to vitality from title and +100 from GS, so regardless of the [Flames], she should be quite resistant to damage, probably to the degree similar to a Primordial. The [Corrupted Regeneration] is scary, though.

Then he had a King who used him as a tool for evil and turned him into a nasty bastard, and then discarded him when a better tool presented itself. Now he has Salvos who locked him up in a prison cell and took him out like a pocket knife only when she needed something, and he must have been thinking along the lines of "this feels strangely familiar", only to see her use her own body as a shield to protect him when he became vulnerable in battle. I don't think his brain has device drivers installed for processing someone who's as powerful as Regnorex and as kind as Ivory. General protection fault at fairy.exe, please restart the system. :)

I can not believe that is the only way that it can be activated. It's the only skill you have from your class that was unchanged by the corruption

One the other hand (depending on the interpretation), corruption might give a flat resistance to everthing non-divine. So that was my initial assumption. Might be either, might be both.

2024-08-28 18:19:50 +0000 UTCOnly Divinity will work against this, I'm afraid, and it's fortunate that she has at least her 1st GS still active, but she'll have to extert herself to the max and blast him with something super extreme and Divinity-based, and hopefully her True Divinity levels from it, because, yeah, corruption sucks.

2024-08-28 18:10:52 +0000 UTC“I really hate the corruption, you know?” - if Salvos said that, I'm starting to get really hopeful about her future. :) Because until now, she treated corruption as something that's basically fine as long as it gets the job done, but in reality it's something like a nuclear weapon that makes everything radioactive forever, only worse.

Definitely something like that corrupted ancient centinel, or corrupted wyvern, only proportionally stronger. I don't know how his divinity and corruption coexist, but his condition definitely doesn't look like something he's coming back from. And their protective skills went out at just the worst possible time. Normal magic won't do much against him, and I guess corruption already did its thing, but he refused to die like a normal bastard and rather became a corrupted one. Is there an end to his degradation? First he became a hellking because his assassin was done with that shit just in time, then he lost his evolution and title to Regnorex and became disgraced and disfigured, and now he's both disgraced, disfigured and corrupted, not to mention wild. What's worse than that? Develop taste buds in his asshole? :)
