What are the most/least interesting parts of creating your reviews/Lost in translations/Dark Histories? What interesting/surprising things have you learned from making them?

(^=Zenmenz96 on YouTube/Discord) A question similar to the "which hero do you (not) want to be" topic discussed in a recent podcast. 1a) Do you think you would be friends with any Final Fantasy characters if they were transported to your area in real life and stripped of all their in-game magical abilities and status? (Assuming they are still more or less the same age as in the game, still have their memories and personalities, and may not necessarily want to be friends with you. So, waifus are out, but platonic male-female relationships are fine.) 1b) If so, which ones and what could you see yourself doing with them when hanging out? (Playing basketball with Cloud, or maybe teaching Snow how to read, helping him get his high school diploma, etc.) Enjoying the channel as always!

Hey, I got a question in case you need one. I've noticed that I tend to appreciate more challenge in my turn-based JRPGs. I feel like it reduces the tedium and in some cases (like in FFX) I might even look forward to combat sometimes! What I realized, though, is that my 3 favorite JRPGS - FF6, FF7, and Chrono Trigger, are all almost absurdly easy (if you know the general JRPG conventions). I recently replayed all of them without grinding a single extra enemy and very rarely had a problem. Do you think those games would be improved with a higher intrinsic difficulty level? Or do you think their relative success has something to do with the streamlined difficulty curve and rapid story pacing that easy combat allows?

I recently found out DQ XI won't have voice acting[1] and a lot people have mixed opinions online. While DQ VIII has some of the best, most Japanese games have questionable voice acting (let alone bad translation) that can ruin them for many people. I personally have a "I love it because it's so bad it's good" attitude towards them and don't mind mediocre voice acting or strange wording in character lines. I wanted DPG's thoughts on a big game like DQ not having voice acting - why do you think it doesn't and what are your thoughts? Do you think Shigeru Miyamoto entering the stage at Ubisoft's press conference is the beginning of new partnerships Nintendo is willing to make with third party studios or is this something we won't see again? Ubisoft seems to have almost full creative control (I'm guessing) over Nintendo's single most important character. Do you think Nintendo is willing to give that creative freedom to other third party studios in the future? BTW. I think it was Casen who wondered, where I was from (because of my name), and I'm from Denmark and I absolutely love the way you pronounce my name. Keep up the good work and congratulations on being a father :).

At the risk of being obnoxious for re-posting an unanswered question from a previous post: Hey guys. Question on the recent logistics change. How far away exactly did Mike move? Was it 10-15 minutes, an hour, over an hour? How do you see this impacting the channel (reviews/podcasts/etc) and does it mean the end of the Dark Pixel main channel? How long do you plan on keeping the channel going? Also, congrats to Casen on becoming a dad! - hardcoor17

I have one. What do you guys think in narration style of letting actions purely drive a narrative? I personally find this style to my liking despite how I love classic story structure in video games. With actions better defining the narrative, I think of games like Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 1. Discovering a world and taking in everything without dialogue. Can follow up with the question of what do you guys think of the phrase in both games and movies "show don't tell". I am a heavy believer in this and feel that both games and movies are in fault of not doing this as much.
