Weekly Update 06.15.2020…

…Sorry for the late post. Let’s get started!

The next page of BLACK LABEL is fully lined and ready for tones! Text and speech bubbles are done as well! I should have it done and posted in a few days! It took a long time for me to figure out how to draw Orcs, so thank you all for your patience and support!

I had a lot of family responsibilities to fulfill last week, but it led to us getting invited to go fishing last Thursday. We were super excited, but after driving out to the lake we discovered that there was no cell service. We spent a few hours trying to figure out where we were supposed to meet up (the plan was simply meet up at the lake at noon), only to finally give up and go home. Disappointing, but we got a nice drive and a small hike out of it. When we got home I discovered that my keys were gone (I wasn’t the one driving). After spending the afternoon searching and making some phone calls, I finally decided they were gone forever and that I’d have to get the replaced. Annoying as hell, but better than losing my wallet.

The next day, I decided to drive back up to the lake and look around to see if I could find them. I figured it was probably a waste of time, but I knew I’d regret not checking. Plus, it would be a nice drive and would hopefully brighten my mood. Also, it was only a thirty minute drive, so it would be stupid not to check. I still can’t believe it, but we actually found them! Someone had picked them up and looped them onto a chain link fence for us to find right at the first lookout point we had stopped at. I still can’t believe that someone didn’t just take them or throw them in the lake! Faith in humanity restored!

Okay, I’ve got two pages to tone this week (and a commission comic coming soon for my $5 patrons)! I’m also sketching out another page of BLACK LABEL so hopefully it will be ready for lines by the time I finish the tones (my wife is helping me with the tones, so hopefully it won't take as long as usual. Can’t wait to get more pages to you guys!
