I would really like to see you pin Shizuku in action. I have seen countless friends identify with Shizuku because she truly portrays the ideal strong, independent woman. In a society where women are viewed as the weak links and seen as easily taken control over, shizuku breaks down the barriers of the misogynistic structures that tear women apart. She may not be the smartest cookie, but she is a fighter. From my shy, anxious, and self conscious cousin breaking out of her shell to my pushover of a friend who was taken advantage of in unfortunate situations, Shizuku has inspired those who are touched by her to fight, and be strong because a woman can achieve great things and is truly more than capable.She truly is an under appreciated character.

His birthday was a few days ago, and it would be a nice surprise for him and his fans. This is a bit long (I get really passionate about Leorio haha) and personal, but I hope that even if this doesn’t get him pinned, someone will see this and appreciate what a fantastic person Leorio is. I used to not care about Leorio at all; I didn’t dislike him persay, but I thought he was just a side character. However, after rewatching the series several times, I realized what a genuinely kind and passionate person he is, and how much he reminded me of someone very important to me. Leorio lost a precious friend to him, and instead of allowing his grief to drag him down, he transformed his pain into determination. He so acutely feels how unfair the world is, after all he watched as poverty stole away Pietro, a young child who just happened to be born into the wrong social class. He doesn’t see the world as violent, rather a systemic evil that tramples across the lives of those without power. So, he chooses to insert himself into the system and twist it into kindness. If money is what is necessary for people to receive basic care, then he’ll hoard enough money to make sure he has the means to help as many people as he can reach. He’s not trying to change the world, he’s just doing what he can in a twisted world, to bring hope to people who are suffering. Even more than his determination, I admire his kindness. Even when the world chewed him up and spit him out, he never became cynical. So many characters in HunterxHunter have experienced trauma, and in response they choose to lash out, to pull away, to trample on other people's feelings. In stark contrast, Leorio doesn’t. He decides to be kind, even in a world where many people will use their trauma as an excuse to wreak havoc. Instead of pursuing wealth to ensure he lives in the lap of luxury, far away from the violence of poverty, he chooses to be a doctor for the lower class. He could have easily decided to cater to the upper class and kept himself in a comfortable position, but he didn’t. He again displays his intrinsically kind nature with his friends, always focused on reaching a hand out to those in need. When Gon jumped over the side of the ship to save the sailor, he didn’t hesitate to abandon his anger to grab Gon before he fell into the ocean. He didn’t hesitate to train like hell to open the testing gate, because he knew Gon wanted to see Killua more than anything in that moment, and he was really worried about Killua’s wellbeing as well. When Kurapika is walking down a dangerous path, Leorio kept calling him and never walked away, even when his help was rejected. He chooses compassion over and over again. The most prominent example of his compassion was when he stood up for Gon to Ging. Leorio knew how much Gon had suffered, how hard he looked for his dad, how important it was for him to find Ging. He had seen the state Gon was in, the way he teetered on the edge of life and death with no foreseeable hope for recovery. He faced Ging head on and confronted him for being a terrible father, and he refused to crumple under the pressure of having an audience, facing someone trying to blow him off, and picking a fight with a skilled Hunter. This scene really moved me. Watching Ging get punched was hilarious, but for me, it was also cathartic. I have always had a really rocky relationship with my parents, and there was never anyone to stand up for me. I was too afraid to stand up for myself; I felt like Gon, unable to move and help himself, choking on a dark aura. When I watched Leorio fight for his friend, unyielding and unafraid to do the right thing even when his dear friend couldn’t say a word, I wished I had a friend like that who would fight for me. Right now, I have someone important in my life who did that. Granted, they didn’t punch my mom in the face (as much as I would’ve paid to see that), but they got right up in her face and made it clear that even if I wouldn’t say anything, they would. After thinking about it for a while, I realized the gravity of what Leorio did. Gon has a positive outlook about everything that happened, and just sees the adventure in finding his father. Leorio sees Ging for what he is: a neglectful parent, and he makes damn sure that Ging knows that this isn’t going to fly any longer. He was brave, and that makes Leorio my hero. In conclusion, Leorio has a heart bigger than the moon. He’s a Robin Hood in a business suit, a tender-hearted teddy bear filled with unconditional love, a fantastic friend who wants to put good things out in the world, and I find him incredibly inspiring.

hi!! i think illumi should be pinned this month because he’s an extremely underrated and misunderstood character. lately i have been seeing so much fan art of him as a teenager holding baby killua’s hand as he’s sleeping and it really made me realize that everything he does to killua is because he wants to protect him from the dangers of the outside world. he was raised to be wary of everything and everyone and prioritize his family at all times, so of course he would come out the way that he did in adulthood. i’m not excusing him for his actions whatsoever, as him being transphobic towards alluka is absolutely unacceptable and infuriating. however, i am taking the time to put myself in his shoes and try to see what life has been like for him to become like he is as an adult. i think he should be pinned because he represents undying loyalty, fierce protection, and undeniable strength :’)

I am once again suggesting Zeno Zoldyck+Netero doing the dragon dive from the Chimera Ant arc! Truly one of the most iconic moments in the series.

*slowly deletes pariston paragraph* ahem anyways i would love to see you pin LEORIO again :) i think leorio is terribly underrated and barely ever mentioned. leorio is in the shadows while gon, killua and kurapika are praised. although he may be deemed as comic relief by some, he is much more than that. he has his own hardships and dreams that he covers up with a fake front of greediness. while he does crave money, he craves it for the sake of others. the man wants to become a doctor to help those in need who can’t afford the expensive operations and such. my fellow US people can relate to leorio’s struggle with expensive healthcare policies :”) it’s so amazing of him to want to actually aid others rather than rob them. also, leorio is strong in powerful himself. he doesn’t have the same training the other characters received but he does good with what he’s got. i believe in the manga he was able to open the zoldyck estate doors by himself! lastly i just want to add onto how caring he is , but for gon, killua and kurapika. he loves them so much and is a better father to gon than ging. he always does whatever he can to help them and if they would’ve called him he could’ve kicked some chimera-ant ass in that arc <3 the scene of him running to gon and hugging him in the election arc makes me feel like no other. just thinking abt it i wanna tear up a bit. thank you for reading and i would love if you considered leorio. (ps i don’t forgive him for losing 50 hours to touch some c**chie though jdjfjshdh)

I vote Illumi!! He is such an amazing character who is also really pretty so it would be cool to see you do a unique drawing of him in a setting that differs from the show! My personal fav illumi outfit is the green zip up he wore in the Zoldyck arc haha :) He's so cute and is actually a very complex character!

i would love to see a pin of Shalnark! I don’t believe there’s been many pins of him yet and I adored him in the series! I would also love another Knuckle pin. I’ve only seen 2 total out there (that I know of). He’s my #1 favorite hxh character. He’s incredibly strong and incredibly soft, he loves Gon and Shoot so so much. His fit may be trash but that’s okay 💖

I nominate Meruem. I love him because he’s one of the most complex villains I’ve ever seen, he starts out easily hateable and you hope he loses, but then he starts becoming more human and empathetic as he sees that even physically weak people have something to offer the world. I cried so hard when he died. 😢. I’ve only seen like 3 pins of him.

My vote is also for Illumi, for the same reasons as the others. He is often overlooked and comes second to Hisoka.

I'd like to suggest the Netero and Zeno entrance scene as a duo pin! That scene left such an impression on me and was such a crucial part of the Chimera Ant arc. I love the balance of yin and yang that they represent and I also love badass older characters in anime. Zeno announcing his dragon dive actually made me tear up because it was so overwhelmingly badass!

I think it's time we got a new edition of Illumi! Buckle up for my loooong ted talk :P We all know that he k*lled a lot of people and did unspeakable things to the point that the Hunter Association wanted to revoke his license (impressive tbh), but in the end it was to protect his family in his own twisted way (and it showed just how far he was willing to go to do it). People always sympathize with Killua and Alluka for their ubringings, but no one has taken the time to think about what Illumi's might have been like. If Silva and Kikyo were still putting their youngest children through t*rture, you can only imagine what Illumi's childhood must have been like as the eldest child to turn him into the powerful assassin he became. The t*rture and experimentation he was subjected to was most likely a lot more severe (perhaps having been subjected to deadly poisons instead of electricity to maintain his Gittarackur disguise for extended periods of time). He also ultimately planted the needle in Killua's head to protect him and keep him safe from danger, but people forget this because they only see it as an obstacle Killua had to overcome to reach his full potential. Illumi is also always seen as second to Hisoka just because he is soft-spoken and not as flamboyant (relatable to me as an introvert) which I believe to be misplaced, as Illumi's family is always at the core of his interests, while Hisoka's interests are far more self-serving. Illumi is a complex character and great villain who gets overlooked again and again. I think he deserves more love/credit.

My vote is for: 📍Illumi📍 Because even though his methods are questionable, ultimately he wants to protect his family. No matter the cost, he'll do whatever it takes. Especially to protect the family hier, Killua. His abilities are subtle yet powerful and he has such an intimidating air to him. Also, he's friends/married to Hisoka so he's in good company lol. I think it would be really cool to portray Illumi somehow with his Gittarackur disguise. Like maybe half the face as Gittarackur transforming to or back to his usual self. I always find that transformation really interesting.

I would absolutely love to see a Morel pin at some point. He is one of the strongest nen users we get to see in all-out battles in the anime. He has one of the most intricate and well-crafted nen powers that we get to see basically the full extent of. He keeps his cool in battle and provides essential leadership during the Chimera Ant extermination mission. Deep Purple and the smoke effect of his power leave a lot of room for artistic interpretation!

I vote Illumi because he is the prettiest and I am trash. Also I love Illumi's twisted relationship with Killua and I need more of him in my life.

I would like to nominate Illumi for the next pin. He is one of my favorite hunter x hunter characters. In the beginning, he was viewed/ portrayed as a villain; being super controlling towards Killua. But throughout the series, his caring personality towards his family is shown even though affecttion is reflected in a very untraditional way. But taking into consideration the type of environment they (the Zoldyck children) grew up in, it is to be expected that affection or any similar emotion would not be traditional displayed. Also Illumi is a very strong character, i think his needle dolls ( I think that is what they are called) is a very cool power to have. My favorite scene/moment of Illumi is when he transforms from Gittarackur to his real self. Thanks for reading! 😊😊

*SPOILERS* I'd like to see meruem (bonus if it's with komugi) because i feel like his character development really shows true and we actually watched him from his birth to death. He was fulfilling what was placed on him since birth which is of course a disaster for humans, but we got to see how he made exceptions for certain humans especially komugi that made me think that he is in actual fact still a child (albeit a really smart child haha) and still learning and growing as he goes on. The most heart hitting scene for me was when komugi was getting pecked by crows and meruem protected her. This was the moment when i realised that meruem isnt that bad after all. He has the capacity to care and be gentle for someone and a human nonetheless. And the most HEARTBREAKING scene was of course their death. Because THEY DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE LIKE THAT!! Meruem seeked komugi even when he knew he did not have enough time left to live. He seeked for her comfort and presence, when he called out to her made me bawled. And the fact that komugi stayed with him even though she might die shows how komugi likes meruem and found someone that cared for her when no one else did. *EXTRA: also i just wanna say that i like how meruem's tail swishes and kill people jsbskdn

I would love to see Komugi, or Meruerm and Komugi, pinned in your style! Their love story has always felt so powerful to me, Meruem literally is biologically hardwired to feel superior to humans and all other species, and he gives it all up for one girl who no one else has ever really seen value in. At first he’s only interested in her as someone who can challenge him, but he grows to see her value as a person, and by loving her, he learns to love humanity, and is able to access the humanity within himself. Her kindness and skill causes him to question his very sense of self, and their love story is also a reckoning with the meaning of power. Komgui completely rewrites Meruem’s preconceived notion of power, and teaches him love and respect. I genuinely believe that their story is maybe the most romantic story ever, and I would so love to see them together as a pin.

I would like to nominate Knuckles! There is something about a gruff-looking delinquent character who has a heart of gold that just DOES IT for me. Who doesn't love a man who wants to pet every single dog in existence?

Oop I think my previous comment was removed for some reason, so I'll just post again (sorry if my previous comment comes back)! I would like to nominate Illumi for the next pin! **Spoilers ahead** He’s such a unique character and I think his actions really show how much he cares for Killua and his family in his own way. At the beginning of the series he appears as a villain, controlling Killua with his needle, convincing Killua to abandon friendship and return home. Yet despite that, he still tells Gon where to find Killua after the Hunter exam. Where Illumi really shines though is the Alluka arc. He cares so much for his family’s safety that he would eliminate any threat, even if it is his own sister. He even says that he would die if it would ensure the family’s safety! Now that’s dedication. When Illumi and Hisoka were chasing Killua and Alluka, Illumi even threatened to kill Hisoka (a long time friend!) if Hisoka harmed Killua in any way. While this is obviously not a healthy way to express love and care for your family, given that the Zoldyck family is incredibly abnormal and this has affected how they express emotions, I hope others can also see that Illumi is really just a family man in his own way. 😇

*Hunter x Hunter SPOILERS* Requiem 4 Kortopi A silent member of the Phantom Troupe. I truly believe that the PT would not be the strong force that they are without Kortopi’s unwavering support while remaining in the shadows. My favorite troupe members are undoubtedly Chrollo, Illumi, Feitan, and Kortopi but there are no Kortopi pins so that’s why I’m advocating for him the most. The intense struggle and suspense we feel for Kurapika is all orchestrated at the hands of Chrollo with Kortopi’s heavy involvement. The chase for the prized Kurta Clan eyes wouldn’t have been as heart wrenching and somber had it not been for Kortopi copying the eyes then being able to track it down in their infamous chase. The intense fear that Knov felt when faced by Pitou’s En is miniscule to what it must feel like to encounter the full scope of Kortopi’s En. Knov went bald from the stress and it can be said that Kortopi’s En is far superior to Pitou’s en range since he was easily able to replicate 50 buildings to hide the PT from Killua’s spying. Even Hisoka recognizes how Kastro must have given up a great amount of mental energy to replicate one human body, but Kortopi continues to serve and support the PT needs with ease. I’ve rambled on about how truly terrifying Kortopi is and it’s because he’s a phenomenal nen user. We never were introduced to his backstory but I like to imagine that he must have been incredibly lonely in Meteor City to have developed a power such as his so I was genuinely heartbroken when Kortopi died. His death was truly unwarranted, and he didn’t receive the recognition he deserved. I hope one day we will see Chrollo dedicate a requiem for Kortopi.

Canary the butler's apprentice is an underrated and inspiring character. I've been put into a position of leaving my job because I witnessed and dealt with a really toxic workplace. I like that ***spoilers kinda?*** Canary puts what's right ahead of everything, and stand up for good in the world regardless of how it'll affect her at the end. I met this character during a bad time of my own, and she's like a kindred spirit to me. She made me feel like I could be strong and endure whatever happened because I made a difficult choice. I'd like to throw in a bit of an underdog here, Killua's mom, Kikyo Zoldyck. Although not a fan favorite I've always been a big fan of her elaborate character design! Her violent and overbearing affection for her children is one to be feared by anyone who dares to harm the Zoldyck children. She is the #1 helicopter mom and I'd love to have a pin that shows off her big fancy dresses and her hot-headed attitude. I haven't seen any pins of her before but I'd really like to have one :)

Meruem! His character in the show was so complex and I love the character growth he went through! When he first came into the show I absolutely hated him but by the end he had become one of my absolute favorites🥺 His relationship with Komugi was so precious and heartbreaking 😭💕 They broke me haha. But it’s still one of my favorite aspects of the show 💖

Id love to see anyone new really, but if I had to pick one id love to see Mito. Ive never seen a mito pin and she did such a good job raising Gon, she deserves some love <3. *spoiler?* The fact that he was willing to never find out who his real mother was because he had her, really showed the love they share.

My vote is for either Uvogin or Colt. I will be writing my paragraph on Uvo hear me out Yvette! I know you don’t like drawing muscles but if you did Uvo in your uwu bust style that solves that issue! I believe that Uvo is crucial to Kurapikas character development and his character provided pivotal moments to the change of tone in the series. Plus it would be super cool to finally have a pin of Uvo on the market and add to our phantom troupe series. There is so much you could do with a design of his character. You could involve Kurapikas Chains, Menchis threads, him drinking beer, the possibilities are endless. I’d like to nominate Kalluto as always. Although we know the Zoldyck family are a highly dysfunctional family and all their children have some sort of trauma from how they were raised, I feel like Kalluto is the most underrated Zoldyck sibling which pretty much lives in the shadows of the family. Unlike the phantom troupe that all members have their own individuality and skill, the Zoldycks base the child’s importance on their performance of their role assigned in the family. Killua was able to strive away from that thankfully and now protects Alluka as well and they have a beautiful bond. Illumi has a twisted type of love for Killua which he tries to manipulate in order to keep Kill as the family heir and Milluki really pays no mind for the others and does his own thing, however I feel like Kalluto tries to seek a bond with someone in the family or have any type of bond at all which is why he joins the phantom troupe. He’s never really seen as an individual or validated at all for that matter he’s just a lonely child who wishes to prove their worth and potential that everyone really tends to overlook or pay no mind to their efforts. All in all, I feel like Kalluto really deserves some love for the fact that no one in the show or in the pin making community really has no opinion for their character. Kalluto has always been more of a wallflower but I feel like they have so much to give if they had the chance to prove themselves or if they even had someone who genuinely cared for them.

You’ve done a pin of Nanika, now I would love to see one of Alluka. I ADORE Alluka because while everyone feared Nanika, Alluka embraced her as part of herself and was even willing to stand up to her dearest brother when he thought he was treating her unfairly by making her go away. She is a complex, interesting, and pure character that deserves so much love and tugged so hard at my heartstrings for the things she went through and the sweetness she held onto despite it all.

Two underrated characters I would love to see be pinned together are Pokkle and Ponzu. They both had compelling arcs in the hunter exam, even though Ponzu didn't pass. They both seem to understand that they're not as strong as some of the other hunters, especially the main crew Gon, Killua, etc., but they still push to work on their abilities and improve. Ponzu even tries to retake the hunter exam but sadly Killua spared no one. Later on in the Chimera Ant Arc, they are the main reason that the hunters are able to confirm the seriousness of the ant mutations and take action with the squad. They sacrificed themselves to get that information out, and Pokkle had to endure torture at the hands of the ants later on. Pokkle and Ponzus' deaths were tragic, so I'd love to see them get commemorated together. Plus their color palettes would go well together aesthetically. Pokkle with nen arrows back to back with Ponzu and her bees, just think about it omg <333

I would love a Meruem pin. The reason being that at first I remember how much I hated him for everything that was happening, and found him so annoying, until he met Komugi. From there on, I was so confused and didn't know how to feel about him. But their ending absolutely broke me, I was (still am lol) devastated. Mereum and Komugi's story are an important part to me on what makes me love HxH as much as I do!! I cry every time lol. Hyori Ittai <3

I’d love to see a pin of Young Kite, surrounded by his puppies with a loaf of bread in hand. I almost always see him pinned with the scythe, but I haven’t seen anyone do a younger/flashback version and I think you could make such an adorable design of it! :)

I love this so much. Thank you! Gon is the kind of character that refuses to stop believing in others <3 I can honestly say that watching the way his kindness and friendship impacted Killua really softened me as well.

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. Today I am going to tell you why Akuma should pin Cheedle Yorkshire for April’s pin of the month. I will be covering various topics, please do not read on if you are not caught up on the anime. The 1st reason why I believe Cheedle should be pinned is girl power! We need more women representation in the hxh pin community. Cheedle is the perfect fit. She is an intellectual well mannered woman of her time. She could quite possibly be the most intelligent out of all the zodiacs. Also, today is international womens’ day, what better way to celebrate than make a pin of our stunning Cheedle Yorkshire? Moreover, the election arc was one of my favorite arcs. After the stress and anxiety from the ant arc it was nice to have some light hearted episodes to end the anime with, until hopefully the next season. I absolutely died of laughter when Cheedle single handedly convinced the other hunters to vote for Leorio as the new chairman. Like really?? LEORIO?? Quality content. 10/10 would watch again. Finally, my last argument is she is cute AF!! What a beauty! My hxh board is nearing its end, I would love to be able to admire Cheedle’s beauty in pin form. She is a highly underrated character and I have NEVER seen her as a pin before. Why not take a chance and pin some underrated characters?

I personally would love to see Gon pinned and I know that he is one of the main characters but I can relate to his positivity and loyalty so much. I have been as I’m sure many people have in a tough spot in my life where I am surrounded by negativity and the people that I thought were closest to me have left. Watching hunter for the first time ever last year Gon taught me that life is going to drag you through the dirt but if you just keep your friends that have continuously cleaned the dirt off of you and stride for your goals anything is possible. Sorry my cheesy weebu rant is over.

Paku, even tho she has been done before I think we all would love another one of her. As today is international woman’s day paku is the perfect example of a strong woman!! She took the heat and stood strong when her friend were in trouble and *****spoiler alert***** sacrificed herself to save her “family” she is so strong and so protective of the ones she loves!!!
