Hey Doug. Mike Oldfield’s Amarok is something to behold. Part genius, part protest, part madness. Worth a reaction if only to see your expression during some of the most challenging movements!

Matt Scutt

Hey Doug. Have you ever listened to any of Ian Anderson’s solo albums? Instrumental and truly remarkable. Check out Divinities

The Nanny named Fran

Ayreon just released the live version of The Day the World Breaks Down, with quite a different line up to the recorded version, perhaps a good one to react to 👀

Anniek.

I long to see Pain Of Salvation's BE reaction :)

Hey Doug, I've really enjoyed your trips into film scores. Any chance for some more? Plus a look at classic TV music themes? From Hawaii Five-O to Robinson Crusoe to Thunderbirds!

I’m just a new subscriber to Patreon, but long time listener to the YT channel. It’s just so great to see the variety of bands available. Fantastic list of potential options. Happy to see Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds made the list, and also happy to see Van der Graaf Generator also getting the visibility - Pawn Hearts and Godbluff are amazing works. Looking forward to a future reaction.

I must hear Songs from the Wood and Journey to the Center of the Earth ! Both favorites, Rick's JTTCOTE was one of the first two albums I ever owned, the other was The Yes Album. My favorite Tull album ever is Songs FTW.

Duff

Oooh yay great list!

I think AP's Pyramid is his best. People may not like the album because it's kind of commercial. For sure Hyper-Gamma-Spaces is his best song. I find it amazing how he brings sounds to the front or puts them in the back. The song is really mesmerizing. Of course, your mileage may vary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs3JN-LwPxg Jeff Beck's Blow By Blow is an excellent album. I think it's best heard on headphones. Arthur Brown surely made a mark in the music world. People today just don't know what they missed by not experiencing the 60s and 70! In the same vein, go to Wikipedia and read about Screaming Lord Sutch. He had Jimmy Page and other great musicians playing on his album. However, it's claim to fame is that it's considered the worst record ever produced. Kind of like Plan 9 From Outer Space in the movie world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screaming_Lord_Sutch David Gilmour by David Gilmour is a wonderful album. I bought it when it first came out and still have that album. Songs from there are on my playlists to this day. My favorite G. Harrison song is Wah Wah. It reminds me of standing by the tracks and a train goes by, then fades into the distance. Lots of stuff I've never heard, so I'll be learning as we go along. Didn't mean to overload your boat. I just get to typing and don't know when to stop. If I get some time, I'll make and send you a video of playing Elizabeth Reed. Be well. PS: Little Feat Waitin' For Columbus! You won't be disappointed.

I agree with the Fish solo request. I think his last album 'Weltschmerz' is awesome

Camel "Sight And Sound" is no longer available on YouTube. Removed for copyright. It is available as a download from Bandcamp for 10 Euro. There are other live Camel albums that could be used instead. Personally, I would rather see a studio album replace it however since you have done most of the songs on these older lives albums. Dust and Dreams or Harbour of Tears are both worthy.

I miss Marillion with Fish om vocals. Clutching at straws and Fugazi would be nice. Or why not something - anything - with Fish as a solo act? Looking forward to more Rush and Jethro Tull!👍
