Psychological Damage from Lewds Consumption

This fact should've been kept taboo in public. But it also concerns our side – the side of creators – who profit off paragon content.

The fact is: lewds damage you.

Just like Hollywood movies a̶r̶e were meant to inspire people about how life can be. Not a single screenplay brought to the screen has anything to do with reality, but people were given dreams in theaters. They were given an idea of better things happening – to others, at least. Believing the life is good and trying to match the standards seen.

Just like porn is providing you with enjoyable visual content that has nothing to do with sexual activities humans ever had nor will be exercising. It looks nice, but it's never natural.

Just like if you show a football or boxing game to a pre-teen boy. He will want to be like big and strong men smashing each other – it's how instincts work – but won't be able to for another decade because of how biology works.

Just like comics you've subscribed to. These are awesome stories. But they never get close to reality. No matter how much you want this. Everyone is free (well, almost free) to enjoy, but at the point where you let your brain think it's a norm in society and you should be getting these kinds of relationships for real... you'll start suffering more and more over time.

Fictions and IRLs don't cross. If you're unable to control cognitive processes; if you're not conscious enough to separate made up stories from the way real life goes, the best case is you quit all lewd sources on the internet (softcore porn is OK). At the same time, it might be an option to get social, dump a hundred bucks into Tinder, and change your life's trajectory.

Our creators – cold-ass folks who observe the process of creation from zero to one hundred – are barely dealing with not falling for these comics as a norm in life. It damages them. It worsens the existing issues and deforms the perception of females. So in case you feel like it's not a challenge for ya, think twice.

Homo are incredibly primitive species, and the entertainment industry figured it out a century ago. We want things to be fun, but the hidden damage covered by addictive stuff isn't the right way to go – even though it makes almost every popular product.

In my opinion, your responsibility as an artist is to produce content according to your truth(whatever that may be). My responsibility as a consumer is to choose wisely(according to my truth) what I support.

Pornography or lewdness has existed since cavemen began drawing on stone walls and the delivery of that type of material has evolved to VR today and will continue to evolve. That is the natural order of things.

I do however think the much greater danger is in todays reliance on other peoples opinions rather than the much harder work of gathering your own facts and forming your own opinions based on them.

Thank You for your thoughtful and detailed response. I agree completely that there is a danger of dependency and blurring of the lines between reality and virtual fiction.

It's rather a complex of major psychological issues easily convertible into psychiatric (potentially). All have to be looked into one by one. And yeah, it's seems messy. Today, the only doubt within paragon is: should we continue delivering & pushing the limits in the manner we did.

It will turn things upside down. Most importantly, it will take over lives. No drug can offer intellectual support or a 1000 series story. Lewds can. No drug is consumable 24/7. Lewds are. No drug satisfies the second natural need of humans. Lewds do. The idea in the post is: don't let it be your shepherd. The point it starts playing a role in life is a quitting point. Otherwise you're hooked. The reason is: lewds change the perspective. When going through hours of 3D NSFW content, you/brain take these things as a standard for life. It's especially relevant for paragon8x content. Analogically to Instagram turning people depressive, lewds mix realistic images/characters/stories with complete fiction; it fucks badly with your brain, and the reality-to-fiction ratio is a way higher than in e.g. Hollywood pictures. As a result, negative influence from lewds consumption is not comparable with anything else. Homo is not closely prepared for that mentally nor physiologically.

Right now lewds are crossing the rubicon of being a fiction. It's far beyond entertainment already. Sexual desire and disbalance in psychological well being of females versus males pushes the latter towards filling the “empty space” with this kind of content. But unlike classic porn addiction, 3D & comics allow intellectual support. Therefore the product we & competitors deliver easily deactivates one's need in taking part in both social & sexual life. Why try anything IRL if it's so much more exciting in front of the screen. A decade ago everything there was are a few 3DCG pics with cubic tits of Lara Croft. Today, it's an industry with sub branches, photorealistic fairy tale content and series-like storylines. Tomorrow it makes reality obsolete. Sexual desire – the core engine running society – is about to get replaced with virtual product. PornHub is 7th most visited resource in the world. Lewds have far more potential than porn.

Please explain why you posted this and what you would like us to take away.
