They used to announce all of the shows and advertise where they were going on tv but have stopped doing that now. So much of the good things they used to do seem to have gone out the window with these ex WWE hires in production etc.

2023-10-09 00:44:38 +0000 UTCIt's sad to see, because AEW is still putting on excellent matches and tying good storylines together. I'm hoping it's just a lull. They need to improve their promotion locally. For months I've lost count of how many people didn't realize a show was happening/forgot about a show happening because of virtually no local promotion. The pre-sales for California and Canada coming up are off to a stronger start. Hoping these 2-3k house shows don't stay the norm since some of their later pre sales are already at that range ticket wise and have some time to go.
