We have a series of personal essays that we're launching this week, 350-500 words each.
Beyond essays, we are still publishing a steady volume of news and features, though the subject matter has shifted rapidly in the past few weeks.
Are we running non-coronavirus stories? Not many, at least for the moment. There may be a place in the coming weeks for other types of content, but for now that's in a holding pattern.
(Sadly we have some really great assigned features we're sitting on indefinitely.)
That said, food is a monumentally important aspect of this crisis, and there are hundreds of stories to tell. There has already been extensive coverage of the restaurant industry's collapse, and food workers on the front lines, but that's just one piece of the puzzle.
We continue to receive smart pitches on less-covered aspects of food and agriculture during this pandemic, but we'd love even more!
