I am looking for feature pitches that combine science and adventure. Bears repeating: before you pitch, read a very recent issue or two. Have relevant clips ready if we haven't worked together. Feature means layers, not one interesting quirk
I am always looking for smart pitches that serve our three audiences. Story rates are tailored to the assignment, so quick turnaround (possibly no-revision) stories start at a few hundred dollars, and longer more intensive stories can be in the ballpark of $1/word. Experience and talent also figure in.
