DINING OUT MAGAZINE IS LOOKING FOR WRITERS (NJ).

Are you a freelancer looking to build your portfolio with quippy clips on restaurants and related topics? You might be just the type of writer we’re looking for! We’re a quarterly dining/lifestyle magazine (both in print and online) focused on NJ’s Bergen and Hudson Counties. Pieces cover everything on dining culture in the region as well as across the river in Manhattan—from restaurant profiles and event coverage to interviews with award-winning chefs and pop-culture illuminati.

Previous writing experience on similar topics is essential. Huge points if you have experience turning around pieces quickly—even more if you hail from or currently reside in Bergen/Hudson! We’re currently assigning articles ranging from 500 to 2,000 words. We pay approximately .10 a word. If interested, please send a short bio and some samples of your work.
