This is a remote freelance position for vpnMentor.com. You can be based anywhere in the world, as long as your native language is English. Our team is scattered all over the world!

We are a VPN, internet freedom, & online safety advice & review site. We write in-depth reviews of VPNs, provide expert advice and guidance, and provide some technical instructional content, too. We have immediate need of skilled writers and editors who are knowledgable in this field.

You need to have demonstrated expertise, and you need to be looking for a long-term gig. We’re not interested in one-offs or writers who are only able to commit to one piece every couple of months sometimes maybe, unless something better comes up.

You'll write about a variety of topics, from how to protect yourself from malicious online attacks to the best VPNs for bypassing censorship in a particular country. Our work is varied, but we're also prepared to work with you to accommodate your particular skills and preferences where we can.

We’re looking for professional writers who care about internet freedom, cybersecurity, and online anonymity, want to build a long-term working relationship, and hold themselves and their work to the highest standards.

You do need to be able to research independently and proof your work. The work we do here also has a learning curve, so you need to be able to take and apply feedback from our editorial and management teams.
