Are you the ideal candidate for our Copywriter Independent Contractor position?

We  are looking for a highly qualified Copywriter to join our team as an  Independent Contractor (1099 position). You will be responsible for  creating, improving, delivering, and maintaining content to achieve our  business goals. Your duties will also include updating and/or content to  raise brand awareness and supplement lead generation campaigns and  monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify trends and areas of  improvement. There will be a great deal of emphasis on blog posts, case  studies, articles, and a book.  Our ideal candidate is an experienced  professional with demonstrable creative writing, project management, and  interpersonal skills. As a Copywriter at PFCS, you should perform well  under deadlines and be detail-oriented. Ultimately, you should be able  to oversee collateral and content initiatives to ensure audience  engagement and brand consistency.

The technical and  sophisticated nature of our work requires a project management mindset  to juggle schedules, deadlines, and personalities. This is an  Independent Contractor position, and we anticipate 10-15 hours of work  per week.

TO BE QUALIFIED FOR THE SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT SPECIALIST POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE:

• BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, or English preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years' work experience in marketing, communications, or content marketing 
• Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
• Published content (please provide a portfolio link or work samples)
• Ghostwriting a published book is preferred.
• Possess the ability to take existing content and formalize it into magazine/trade publication appropriate pieces.
• Project management skills and understanding how to manage the  priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus  on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads, and sales.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

RECAP:  Copywriter Independent Contractor needed for 10-15 hours  per week; the expected salary range is $40-$50/hour.  Remote work  location; however, our company has locations in San Clemente, CA,  Corona, CA, and Henderson, NV where we would welcome the right candidate  should the location be convenient.
