We are doing a series of articles that take a critical look at internet policies in the context of COVID-19, especially for women and LGBTQIA+ people. From rights of gig workers to online violence. The call for pitches is still open.
Our rates are 0.12 USD per word for pieces that are around 1000-1500 words and we pay a small additional amount depending on research, number of interviews etc. Our maximum payment is 300 USD.
Also do keep in mind that we are always open for pitches around internet, technology, feminism and gender, beyond the current call on internet policies and cultures in context of COVID19. Writers who are women and/or LGBTQI+ are preferred, and especially from Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, but everyone is invited to pitch. Submissions in Spanish are also accepted.
