We are a new media brand built to serve as a resource for surviving these uncertain times. We believe that survival skills aren't just for doomsday preppers and bunker builders. That's why we aim to create resources, tell stories, review products, and curate life-hacks for young urban professionals in an increasingly chaotic world. Think SurvivalLife.com with the upscale polish of Goop and urban wit of New York Magazine.
WHO ARE YOU?
A talented writer and content creator who thinks that that mash-up of concepts (we know it sounds a little crazy) could be informative and fun. We're looking to work with greater writers with a variety of experience. Whether you're a product reviewer, an essayist, culture critic, survival pro, or lifestyle writer we'd love to hear your ideas. Experience is welcome but we're also excited to discover fresh new talent.
What we need: Let us know that you're interested. Send us an introduction and include a sample of your published work if you have any. We're also interested in hearing pitches and fresh takes on what "survival" means for urban millennials in these chaotic times so hit us with your potential headlines and story pitches.
What you get: Right now we're still in stealth mode so any greenlit pitches will be paid a freelancer fee depending on length and depth. However, we will be looking to hire at least two part-time staff writers ahead of the launch (with the potential to go full-time as the business accelerates.)
We're looking forward to hearing from you!
