Whole World Botanicals, Inc. is a small ($2 million) medicinal botanicals company with premium products, excellent customer service and a social mission seeking to expand sales through e-communications. We need to hire a superb copywriter who has extensive experience in the natural health products industry, preferably in supplements and ideally in botanicals.

Please include a cover letter with the size (in terms of sales) of companies with which you have worked, a description of your track record in increasing sales through e-communications, and samples of your writing. Feel free to include links to your content or portfolio in your application.

To best meet our needs, you must have marketing/writing experience within the natural health industry and thoroughly understand it. You must also be a passionate consumer that regularly takes natural health products for your own well-being.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
Collaborate with our marketing team on projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
Edit and proofread copy as needed
Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
Source images and other content

SKILLS

Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
Knowledge of online content strategy and creation, especially for email communications and newsletters
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Experience with SEO
Strong research skills
Creativity
Collaborative spirit
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Experience with Constant Contact
