I'm one of the arts editors and I'm taking freelance pitches. Our base rate is $250 for 600-800 word arts and culture stories and we can pay more for in-depth reported features with multiple sources. We are San Francisco's NPR station. We often run stories of national importance, though a localized Northern California angle is always a plus.
