Our new nonprofit seeks diverse journalists for stories about patient struggles with medical expenses and treatment, health insurance, healthcare policy, and advances and innovations in biotech. Relevant journalism experience such as covering health, science, insurance or government required. We are looking for reporters who can dig, get people to talk, and turn policy into prose. Boston-based but can be located almost anywhere. You can get a feel for us at our website in progress. We are dedicated to making medicines affordable for everyone in America, and the journalism supports that mission but is run independent of it. Pay is competitive; at least $1 a word.
