I’m after pitches for the the issue on sale May 13th. If you have an idea for a newsy film story, fire it over (along with a links your previous work).
QUICK POINTERS ON WHAT I’M AFTER:
- Angles on upcoming films - who we should be interviewing or how we should cover
- A unique perspective for an opinion piece (especially if you have specific expertise)
- Ideas on how to respond to recent events/announcements/debates in film news
WHAT I’M NOT AFTER:
- Retrospectives or anniversaries (Take 20 is the news section, so pretty much every story needs to be future-facing)
- Names of people you want to interview (pitch an angle, not a celebrity)
- Reviews or features (again, wrong section)
