We get so many great location-specific pitches from destinations around the world, but I'm also looking for more generalist stories about the industry of travel and where it intersects with food and drink. Trends in lodging, airlines, tech, etc.
We don't like to circulate rates widely, especially since they do vary across platform, etc. I can say our average is around $500 for a 1000-1500 word reported piece. Listicles, essays are slightly less, features more.
