I'm working on a proposal for this essay collection, and I hope to have some folks express interest at this point so I can impress upon my agent that it can be done (and so I can get a sense of what I'm able to include). The amount I will be able to pay writers selected for the collection will depend on whether the proposal sells or I end up self publishing. I will pay writers regardless—I've committed to $200 from my own pocket at least. But hopefully I can sell the idea and get an advance and pay everyone more than that!
