We've covered a lot and are looking to broaden our scope even more! Come and pitch us a story we haven’t written about, or maybe we have, but you have a new and unique take!
We are a non-academic general interest magazine, reaching both Muslim and mainstream audiences.
Our articles range 1200-1400 words (of original writing). All references are included within the text, and not as foot- or endnotes. Copyright-free photos/graphics are requested.
We use AP Stylebook, of course, a trifle changed to suit our Islamic usages.
All articles are edited and copyedited, and then sent to authors for their review and acceptance. Only author-reviewed versions are published.
We pay 10 cents/published word, upon publication of the magazine. (Once the article is published in IH, you are free to republish, with due citation, of course).
All submissions must be sent in MS Word unformatted form.
