Ziya Jones, Senior Health Editor of Xtra Magazine, is looking for pitches:

Xtra Magazine is looking for pitches for a package about climate + LGBTQ2S+ issues. Open to essays, features, Q&As, opinion, service pieces, etc. Anything that broadly reflects a queer / trans lens on the climate crisis and environmental issues.

This is open to writers and stories outside of Canada. Rates start at around $350 for short Q&As and increase based on scale, length, etc. I'm particularly interested in hearing from Indigenous journalists and / or sources. Pitches can be sent to ziya.jones@ptp.media.

Also particularly interested in Solutions stories. Who are the queer and trans leaders in climate activism today?
