Pitches wanted (gaming) | $400 to $750 per article

Blake Hester, Senior Associate Editor at Game Informer, is looking for pitches:

I do not much care for the 2018 God of War game, but Jason Guisao's cover story on Ragnarök is very Good. So good that it made me interested in the game. One of my favorite cover stories during my time at GI. Jay is the goat.

But that's not all. We also have the wonderful Jay Castello and Ben Bertoli in this issue writing BANGER features. Jay took a look at Soulstice, which sounds very neat! And Ben talked to Studio MDHR about how it makes it’s famous boss fights. Stellar work all around. Which is all to say we are slowly but sure beginning to take freelance work!

This is very much a work in progress and we are very much learning. But if you have pitches, I’m leading the freelance charge for Game Informer. Hit me up with ideas big and small.

Reviews are between $400 and $500. Features are on a sliding scale based on work needed, amount of pages, interviews, etc. General range has been around $500 and $750. But that’s flexible and can go up as needed depending on the piece and work required.
