We've onboarded some of the world's most reputable brands and now we need an Arts and Culture Writer for one of our clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Rate is a monthly estimate of 4 articles per month.

The price per article written is $450.

REQUIREMENTS

• You'll enjoy producing articles, features, and long-form pieces that are simply a joy to read.
• You're interested in covering items of genuine cultural integrity, social meaning, or innovation.
• You'll also be interested in web3!
• You may have looked at or collected cryptoart before

Our client is not looking for Copywriters really, or for people who care about SEO or anything like that; they're looking for people who get energy from writing beautiful prose. You may have spent time in the arts, you may have an MFA, you might run a tiny culture blog; or all, or nothing.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

Our client is looking for multiple writers and journalists to write about either cultural contributions or web3 products; all will be invited to contribute to their communities segment too.

But what unites all their writers is a love of writing, and writing well.

You'll likely be culturally astute with a deep interest in creators and what they create. You'll be eager to tell people's stories and explore the cultural meaning of their work, being more interested in this than whatever the floor price is. As a Culture Writer, you will be expected to write sophisticated cultural reviews and critiques, and will have the opportunity to interview some of the biggest names in crypto art.

Above all though, you'll be passionate about writing intelligent and joyous prose that is simply a delight to read. You have significant creative autonomy and will be able to specialize in any number of cultural categories, including, art, music, film, and storytelling, though they're also happy to help on the story ideation front.

ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS:

Qualified candidates will be invited to do a screening interview with the Braintrust staff. We will answer your questions about the project, and our platform. If we determine it is the right fit for both parties, we'll invite you to join the platform and create a profile to apply directly for this project.

C2C Candidates: This role is not available to C2C candidates working with an agency. But if you are a professional contractor who has created an LLC/corp around your consulting practice, this is well aligned with Braintrust and we’d welcome your application.
