Pitches wanted from trans writers (visibility, transition, parenting) | $400 to $500 per article

We are seeking pitches representing trans points-of-view and experiences. Interested writers can email me, contributing editor, at lauranorkin@gmail.com. Crucially, the pitch must address its relevance to Gloria's age demographic.

1. An essay on life as a trans person now vs. then, from the POV of someone 40+ who has experienced different eras in the fight for trans visibility and rights.

2. What parenting a trans teen taught me about pride, or other essay about parenting a trans/NB person as they grow up with the aim of celebrating and uplifting.

3. An essay about a late-in-life transition, e.g. when someone was married/partnered; how a personal evolution was experienced in a family unit.

Rates: $400/straight essay, $500 with reporting for 1000 words or less.
