Shannon Palus, Senior Editor of Health and Science at Slate, is looking for pitches:
I'm looking to assign more pieces for Good Fit, Slate's column on exercise. Right now I am looking for opinion pieces and reported pieces, and specifically not personal essays. Rates: $400-$750 depending on the scope of the piece. Email shannon.palus@slate.com.
It's ok to reference reporting you've done for something else if you are using it to make a fresh, sharp argument! Just specify that in the pitch.
