Rosemary Donahue, Health and Parenting Editor at The Insider, is looking for pitches:
I am looking for all sorts of interesting stories for the health and parenting section of Business Insider, including (but not limited to) stories about: being an older parent or having older parents, stories about longevity/lifestyle tips from older people in your family, interesting stories about money and relationships or health (becoming the breadwinner and how it affects your relationship, suddenly making a lot more money and how it changed your life, etc.), workplace relationships, travel and family, parenting or co-parenting in a unique/different way, interesting stories about names, non-traditional parenting/grandparents, only children, non-traditional marriages/relationships (having separate bedrooms, different houses, etc.), and any other interesting personal story, even if it doesn't necessarily fit in one of these categories.
Starting at around $225 for 600 words. Accepting new writers and all demographics and locations. Email rdonahue@businessinsider.com with links to relevant published pieces if you have them. Use PITCH: [Proposed headline] as your subject line for the email.
